Welcome to the Association!

Gender equality is the state ‘the state in which access to rights or opportunities is unaffected by gender. A study has found that more than half of female students believe gender may hold them back in their career. Only 36 percent of women are confident that their gender will have no influence on their pay and their career progression, on the other hand, compared to 70 percent of men who are confident, according to the first national Think Future Study.

According to NPR these statistics show the wage gap between males and females based on races. The graph shows a big gap between the wages of each gender, this shows how there is inequality in society between both genders. Therefore, in the gender equality association we will be raising awareness about the issue of inequality between either genders in society.

Who are we?

We are a group of enthusiastic people who want to make a difference in the world by helping improve gender equality. Our association consists of 15 hard working people who are eager to raise awareness about the rights of women and men. Our mission is not only to raise awareness for gender inequality, but also to raise money towards the charitable foundations that support the rights of women. We are currently running a campaign to raise money for ‘The Women’s Global Empowerment Fund.’ We are split into different groups, and these groups are obligated to do different kinds of tasks relating to writing news articles, creating a social media page, and also initiating small group projects.

What we do?

In the gender equality association, we raise awareness about global issues regarding gender discrimination, and other sorts that violates the right of women and men. We create videos, websites and social media platforms in order to present our works and raise awareness. At the moment, we are still in the process of creating videos, posters, websites and social media accounts. However, within a month we will be working on a big project (TO check) and our aim is to raise awareness about equal rights for all genders.
